Multiplicative effects on the mean, 95% CIs, and p-values result from negative binomial regression models; multiplicative effects on the mean are interpreted as the multiplicative effect on the mean outcome level per each 5 unit increase in UCLA loneliness total score. Models were adjusted for age at transplant, sex, ethnicity, race, smoking history, current drinking, and BMI. Additionally, transplant subgroup was also adjusted for in analysis of all patients. P-values < 0.0071 were considered as statistically significant after applying a Bonferroni correction for multiple testing for the 7 general outcome measures that were assessed
